
DONNA BROADBENT - Equine Assisted Learning Specialist (EAL)
Donna has a Graduate Diploma in Special Education & Human Services; Diploma of Teaching; Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning Certificate (Equine Psychotherapy Institute). Sheis a Master Instructor - Licensed Mental Health First Aid Australia Facilitator in the following specialised areas: Standard, Youth, Teen, conversations about suicide and conversations about NSSI. A Member of the International Institute of Complimentary Therapist (IICT).
Donna has extensive experience supporting children through to adults, individuals, groups and corporate organisations achieve improved mental health and wellbeing, personal awareness/development, life skills, support techniques, coping skills, team building and leadership skills.
Previous experience in the Victoria Police Force, Education Department, Community Services – Education, Employment and Training and NSW Mines Rescue.
Donna has a warm, caring and empathetic nature that assists so many people and has a great respect and passion for partnering with horses and offering ‘equine experiences’ to people exploring and addressing their learning needs and goals identified. Horses assist in teaching self-awareness, relationship, emotional intelligence and integrated being supporting human growth, development and change. Donna is completing her AIPC Councellors Qualifications to add to her great skills set.
Donna brings many decades of relationships with horses to her work and is a skilled rider and experienced horsewoman.

Our Chairman of the Board
Kyle Tyrrell is the Chair of Path of the Horse having joined the Board in March 2023.
Kyle is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 24 years’ service including multiple overseas deployments. He has extensive experience as a leader in global security risk management and is the former CEO of Vanguard Global Security Risk Management and was the Director of Counter-Terrorism and Vice President of Middle East and North Africa at the National Safety Agency.
He is a highly sought-after consultant in High Performance and Leadership with a global client list.
Kyle is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a Masters of Business Administration (International Management), a Graduate Diploma of Strategy and is currently studying Psychology. he operates a highly effective and respected Leadership Business, Kyle Tyrell High Performance Leadership https://kyletyrrell.com.au/
He enjoys time in the outdoors, travelling, Australian Rules Football (loves carlton FC) and serving the Veteran community.
Kyle brings a wealth of experience to The Path of the Horse and helps us set and achieve our Strategic Plan to ensure we are doing the best we can as a Charity. He leads our other Directors Mr Robert Miller, Mr Tony Pack and Mr Dean Mighell in their Director roles.

JOHN GIAMPINO - Maintenance and Improvements Manager
John is one of our Veterans who has helped us with all things building and maintenance over the years. John served 31 years in the Australian Army, deployed to Bougainville, East Timor, Afghanistan and the Solomon Islands. Retiring in 2017 as a Warrant Officer Class One. John brings a wealth of knowledge and is always happy to turn his skill set to anything that is required.
John has made an enormous contribution to the Path of the Horse.
We welcome the support on the ground from out volunteers so very much. Please contact us if you can help.

Oz is our welcoming Committee in his own right. He loves people and will always welcome you with a wagging tail, enthusiasm and kindness.
He has been a comfort to so many people here and tends to know when you need a bit of Kelpie love.
Dogs are amazing beings and we welcome dogs here at The Path of the Horse with two large dog runs for those that would like to bring their K9 companions or Assistance Dogs with them.
