ACCOMMODATION

We are always happy to put a roof over the heads of our guests in their time of need. Like all areas of our property, our accommodation offerings are humble, made by the hands of our volunteers and are constantly evolving and expanding.

The Shed & Common Area

This shared cabin is such a comfortable place to relax and spend time. You can have the fire roaring in winter or kick back in the shade of the patio in the warmer months; it’s self-contained with a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and all the amenities you could need.

It was important to make the space as non-clinical as possible, especially given the experience many of our guests have had with mental health and psychiatric services. It may be humble, but it feels like home!

We currently have a bedroom with a double bed and 2 bunks, as well as a mezzanine single bed that is ideal for children.

Please note all accommodations must be confirmed before your arrival.

Cabin Accomodation

We are currently in the process of finishing several new cabins, made possible thanks to generous donations of money and time from our community.

2 pine cabins will be able to act as accommodation for 2 single beds each (or king beds for each) with a vanity, and a larger cabin is nearing completion that contains 4 bunks, a kitchenette, and a bathroom.

2 outdoor undercover areas are also being planned so that our horses and humans can work in the shade and in the dry year-round.

We need your support!

All of the above works are made possible by generous donations from our community, but we still have a way to go.

Beyond funding itself, if you’re a skilled labourer, we could use your services! This doesn’t always need to be volunteer work; in some cases, we have funds to pay for qualified tradies to help with structural work. If you or someone you know is in a position to help in any way, we’d love to hear from you!
